this is an upgraded version of Smash Remix that is done by the community. this is why this update doesn't appear in the official Smash Remix update pages. they added more new characters and i'm going to check them out.

his moveset resembles the Ultimate version quite a lot but there's some differences. his recovery is still rather weak.
he's one of the glitchier characters and the game can crash while playing as him as you see at the end. that wasn't the only crash i had.

for this, i'm playing on a real N64 using the Summercart64 flash cart. this version of the mod is not compatible with the Everdrive due to the bigger rom size so i had to bring out the Summercart64 to play it (that investment is paying off)
