For episode 18, the final episode of Act 2 of the series, it was a milestone that I felt deserved more than the usual opening and ending sequences. Plus, if anything had happened that resulted in me having to drop the series, this kind of ending would be most fitting to close the book, regardless of the episode itself having an open-ended conclusion. Like before, there were multiple contenders to what song I wanted to use like "Egao" and "To the Future" both by Kouji Wada (JAKShadic also suggested "The Real Folk Blues" from Cowboy Bebop), but I kept coming back to "Tomadoi" due to its slow, quiet, and somber tone which is the kind of song I wanted. The lyrics doesn't really match with anything in the series proper, but I ultimately stopped caring about meaning when it was finally time to put video to the sequence.
