A smart building safety supporter built using the Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-S3 Sense. The compact board is ideal for this project because it combines powerful ESP32-S3 processing, an onboard camera, AI capability, and wireless connectivity in a small form factor. The system uses camera-based AI to estimate the number of people in a monitored area and an MQ-6 sensor to detect a possible gas alert. When an emergency condition occurs, a buzzer is activated and an evacuation dashboard displays the alert, people estimate, camera location, and exit instructions.
