Dwyer’s high-accuracy and versatile 3400 can be utilized to measure gage, vacuum, and absolute pressure of gases, vapors, and liquids in applications such as: water & wastewater, chemical processing, and oil & gas. Alternatively, the 3500 is ideal for differential pressure measurement of gases, vapors, and liquids in applications such as: flow and level regulation, and pump operation.
The active element for both transmitters is a piezo-resistant silicon sensor separated from the medium by separate diaphragms and a specially selected type of manometric fluid. The special design of the active sensing element ensures that it is able to withstand pressure surges and overloads. Wetted materials are made of 316L stainless steel, which is strong and durable for use in various applications.
