The TRIBEX SE Hydraulic Tripod is a more compact version of SmallRig’s popular quick-extension and quick-leveling tripod design. When set up it has a min. height of 25cm and a max. extension of 166cm when using the center column and the aluminum allow legs can handle a weight of up to 15kg, while the compact fluid head has a payload of 6kg.

At the heart of the hydraulic tripod system is the X-clutch, which can be flipped out to the right side by pushing the red button. A rotatable safety switch needs to be opened, to be able to press the clutch and activate the hydraulic mechanism. If the legs are retracted, the height can be adjusted by slowly pulling up the whole tripod to the wanted height, ideal for small increases.
