I'm always switching between video & photo, so wanted a discreet cage that allowed full access to all the controls, as well as offering some protection.

Full cage: SmallRig 1982

This half camera cage is specially designed for SONY A7II/A7RII/A7SII/ILCE-7M2/ILCE-7RM2/ILCE-7SM2.

It is a compact and lightweight design that in combination with small dimensions. The delicate structure allows full access to the camera's buttons and controls.

There are three shims inside the top plate, for preventing from camera wounded and unwanted twist.

The top plate offering arrays of mounting holes leaves camera's own hot shoe accessible, so that you can attach XLR-K1M for an external mic setup.

It features 1/4"-20 mounting holes for attaching accessories and mounting onto a tripod plate.

It can be directly attached to a Manfrotto dovetail with two 1/4'' screws.
