The cold slows the worms' metabolism down so they're not as active, coupled with the fact for the foodstuffs added such as melon skins, they may as well be in the refrigerator!!!
So basically, the bins are all doing well but everything has slowed down. It's important to bear this in mind in your cold season, if your bins, like mine, are outdoors, as you don't want to overfeed them.
