Just a little video of a side project of mine. Got a small 5w panel for only £10 which is really well made. Originally was going to be for running my vans internal fan in the summer to keep it cool but found that it is not enough to even turn the fan motor so is now a spare panel.
Decided to use the spare panel, some speaker cable and spare charge controller and battery to put together a micro-solar power system which should give enough power for me to charge my phone and other small gadgets straight off the sun in my bedroom.
Minor note, the charge controller is very low quality as I found out when connecting it up. The connections between the screw posts and the board seem to be very fragile and can be very hard to get a connection from.
