In this video, I walk through the Power Query best practices that make real projects cleaner and faster. You’ll see how to stage your queries with parameters so one source feeds many queries, and how to reuse intermediate steps with the meta / Value.Metadata trick without duplicating work. I’ll show simple ways to organize everything using groups (folders) and comments so future you (or your teammates) instantly understand the logic. We’ll also clear up a common myth: fewer steps ≠ faster; performance depends on streaming operations like sort and pivot can force early evaluation and slow you down.
