Facilitated by TNC’s Nature Bonds Program, the government and people of Seychelles have crafted and signed into law a comprehensive marine spatial plan for their ocean. This historic plan is an output of the world’s first debt conversion for nature, designed to expand marine protections, address climate change adaptation and advance the nation’s blue economy.
