Stefan Mahrla shows the strat in the Shell Smash minigame to get a really good highscore.
In the vid you first see a normal run, where you can get ~14x.xxx points.
Then a run with an extra red shell, which gives you ~19x.xxx points.
And finally you can get a green shell in your shooting line to get ~27x.xxx points, but this isn't shown in the video, because it's extremely hard to get an extra green shell in your line.
