Two days ago, Jordan Raugutt found a new and easier method for Pause Clipping horizontally, which involves slide kicking into an object at high speed (youtube.com/watch?v=DDCYpepPd3s). This made me wonder if it could be done the same way but with a shell, and sure enough, it can. I'm not sure if this is useful for anything at the moment but it's still pretty cool. You can also clip through objects faster if you jump right before pausing because pausing in mid-air allows you to unpause the game sooner.

![[Former World Record] Lego Star Wars II (DS) Any% Speedrun in 16:15
UPDATE: Due to a change in how runs in this category are timed, this run has been retimed to 16:15, where timing begins when I select New File from the title screen.
This run is no longer the World Record. See a faster run here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mOWqtTYW7g
Beats Zulices run by 6 seconds. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfoSmQamqyU) Timing starts as soon as I select New File from the title screen and ends when I lose control in Destiny. Of course, theres still room for improvement. Trench Run was bad, because I didnt use the Host Wireless trick to make the boss easier. Other than that, Id say it was a good run. I definitely think sub 15 is possible. [Former World Record] Lego Star Wars II (DS) Any% Speedrun in 16:15](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/a2agUdIdVaM/mqdefault.jpg)
