Here I collect the star "Wall Kicks Will Work" in Super Mario 64, in what I like to call "Slip n' Slide Mode", where Mario will unavoidably slide down any surface that is not completely flat. More details about that can be found in the description of youtu.be/zdq_dahLuMA.
This is the first star I've had to actually use tool-assistance for. The strat I used is basically based off of youtu.be/PFRu7G1x73Q, except much less optimized because I'm not really going for speed, and also I'm not great at TASing. (The beginning is mostly just to demonstrate that I am in fact in Slip n' Slide Mode, which wouldn't really be evident otherwise since the platform you start on is non-slippery, which will prevent Mario from skidding all over the place.)
Falling through the very small gap there is necessary because all of the surfaces leading up to the Wall Kicks Will Work star are angled, in such a way that it's simply not possible to navigate up them normally.
If you're wondering why the gap is there, it's because the floor triangles there do not meet up perfectly at the corner, so there's a VERY small gap where Mario can fall through. There are more details about that here: youtu.be/IZyR2W1K6Gs
