I don't know why either of these happen, but they are both very easy to pull off.
1. Textbox Error: Next to the left door, fire a portal on the wall, and then fire a different portal slightly below it. If you walk in the door and in the portals at the same time, the 20 Star textbox will appear, but then the Bob-omb Battlefield intro textbox will appear after it.
2. 20 Star Door Skip: Like the first trick, fire a portal on the wall next to the left door. Fire it as close to the floor as possible without it actually being on the floor. Fire another portal on the ground below the one on the wall. Walk into the portals and the 20 Star textbox will come up. But for some reason, part of the left door will no longer have collision, so you can walk straight through the door and into the next area.

Im back! I was struggling with school for about a month or two, but now that school is out, I can now work on TASes for as long as I like! (well, until school starts again in August, of course) The movement in this TAS feels kinda unoptimized and I wouldnt be too surprised if it could somehow be improved.

Im very satisfied with how this turned out. This TAS beats my previous TAS of this level (https://youtu.be/dq5GCmqZ4Mw?t=202) by nearly two minutes thanks to the Free Buddha Glitch in the first two rooms, more optimized usage of Barts grapple ability, taking less damage, and more optimized movement in general.

P.S. The music in this level is awesome

This run started out fairly good but turned into crap about 3/4 of the way in. Died like 5 times in Mysterious Mountainside alone and had to go back to BoB near the end because I didnt have enough stars.
