Nathaniel Bandy came on the SM64 DS server and asked if it was possible to skip the 2nd keydoor without mario: the only clip so far required mario to open the twelve star door.
There is another clip in the lobby: if you get on the pillar in the JRb room, you can clip OoB. However, yoshi jumps too low to reach the pillar.
It was then deemed impossible.
But Today, I got the idea of using the 1-up to jump in mid-air, because when yoshi eats something, he can jump for 2 frame.
I use it and succesfully make it on the pillar ! then I clip oob and walk on the seam of the castle to reach the loading zone, without the need of Mario.
This means the game can now be completed without unlocking Mario. It's Super 64 DS now.

When theres no more to break in a game, break the next.
In this case Another Super Mario 3D
This game is also completable 0x, and this was the biggest problem to finish it. I collect both the key and the red coin star.
Getting on that last platform was tricky, because getting an ennemy there was impossible... So I had to use shell hyperspeed shenanigans to get there.")

Hello curious people !
In this weeks video, I beat the ghost house and the secret exit to unlock the cannon ! Guess where were going next ;)
At the start, I already have the power ups from my previous level, but note that it would also be possible to beat the level without that.
When navigating the house, I have to climb some stairs at one point (0:13), but if I just walk to it, I pass right through without going up. So I use a groundpound to boost Luigi up the stairs.
There are no crazy new tech, no difficult task in this level, so I was able to breeze through relatively easily.

This weeks video isnt about a level, but interesting nonetheless !
I use TAS to get infinite lives while following the TJC rules
I needed to find such a strat, because the next levels are gonna be very, very lives costly. It was fun trying to save lives, but this is also more convenient, as I dont have to worry about running out of lives in the middle of the level.
Therefore, Im going to assume that I can get to 90 lives whenever I want, which I hope should be enough for other levels.
Also, I think there might be an even more precise infinite lives trick: do that same thing but without a wall, instead have another 2 players doing the same trick in order to send the shell back and forth.

Before, we triple jumped from the stone pyramid thing cannon to the island, and then used the cannon on the island. The problem is that we couldnt collect every coins in one go. But I proved that its possible to collect every coin from the bottom cannon, Therefore, saving :

Big thing before explanations: I can now record in HD ! The game looks way smoother and is nicer to look at. ( thanks to sharkey91)
Timing begins when the game is turned on and ends on the last input. (When I close the textbox saying I got a star.)
I saved a total of 11.45 seconds ! or 685 frames. Here are the improvements:
First part: I skip the touchscreen tutorial by pressing L,R,Start and select simultaneously.
Second part: Once in the level, I build Y-speed and start doing glitchy longjumps. They allow me to have a good angle for the triplejump onto the arch.
-after the triplejump, I land on the side of the slope. Its because the slope is slippery, and usualy jumping on it puts you in a slope jump state, so its impossible to triple jump on this slope. But by landing on the side of the slope, the game thinks Im on the floor below, while still being on the arc floor. It allows me to single and double jump faster.
-Then I use the touchscreen to turn around and triplejump instantly, instead of building Y-Speed again.
-Once up there, I jump and slidekick, and use once again the touchscreen to turn around and initiate a glitchy longjump. This gives me a good angle to then jump, and longjump.
-Then, once on the ramp, I face the same problem: Im on a steep slope and jumping puts me in a steep jump state. So I walk to the ledge to be able to longjump, then I walk on the ledge again to sideflip, and rech the top. once there I walk to the door.
Third part: Once in the castle, I build Y-Speed and sideflip to the left toad, instead of the right one.
-But instead of talking to the toad, I enter the door hitbox, wich actives a textbox too. The textbox is shorter so its faster + yoshi has to turn less to face the door than to face the toad.
-Then I reactivate the Y-Speed and longjump back to the corridor. once there I walk and longjump to the star optimally.
