For this week’s Unraveled, I wanted to do something a little different.
After needing to cancel last week’s livestream to recover from a CPTSD episode, I found myself wanting to slow down—not just in life, but with the fabric itself. Instead of rushing through new arrivals, we took our time, zoomed in, and really looked at the artistry behind each collection.
We explored Punk’d by e bond, discovering the hidden layers of punctuation and design that make her collections so fascinating. Then we took a first look at Gradients Gallery, admired the incredible texture of Handloom by Tara Faughnan, and discovered why the photos of Anna Maria’s Silver Linings Wovens don’t come close to doing them justice. We also peeked at the new Adorn Christmas collection (yes… Christmas in July happened 😄).
Along the way we talked about recovery, listening to our bodies, honoring difficult anniversaries, creating inclusive community, and why sometimes slowing down lets us see beauty we might otherwise miss.
