Slint is an open-source software toolkit designed for creating graphical user interfaces across a wide range of platforms including embedded systems, mobile, web, and desktop applications. In this demo, Aurindam explores how Slint integrates seamlessly with the i.MX 95, a powerful platform featuring 6 Arm Cortex-A55 cores and a dedicated Cortex-M processor. The Cortex-M processor is Functional Safety-certified, ideal for safety-critical applications, while the Cortex-A cores deliver high-performance capabilities for rich user interfaces.
The Home Automation demo lets users control lights, view a dummy camera feed (real feeds can be integrated), and adjust temperature settings through a customizable UI. The i.MX 95 combines low-power, real-time, and high-performance processing, offering a versatile platform for embedded applications. The UI features dynamic animations, Dark Mode, and smooth room transitions.
