Testing spawn mechanics for slimes on a sim 6 world in Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

Is it worth digging all the way to the bottom layers? Do the slime spawn only on the top 8 platforms or on all of the platforms? And what's up with multiple slime spawning in a column of blocks?
