The easiest way that I've found to get to the Glass Desert.
Highly suggested that you first pop 3 Gordos (by feeding them until they bust) for slime keys and upgrade your Jetpack. Also you'll need 1 pink plort, 1 rad plort, 1 honey plort, 1 tabby plort, 1 boom plort, 1 rock plort, and 5 quantum plorts.

As I've said in the video, I've come across some kind of bug that sometimes causes me to lose all my slimes, ornaments and toys. No one is really sure what is causing it yet but here is what I think is happening.
I think that if you leave the game running (even after your game is saved) and then put your computer to sleep or shut it down, it will cause the bug/glitch.
For now, just be sure to "Quit and Save" when you're done playing Slime Rancher before you turn off your computer or put it to sleep.
