Unlocking the two last (?) areas in the Far, Far Range, using plorts to open doors and portals. Also finding new slimes in these areas along with new resources.
Generally it feels like new areas are not as time consuming, probably because I've upgraded everything and have plenty of money to build corrals and gardens.
Also, combining meat and vegetarian slimes is a good way to have a stable and simple diet for every slime. If you're in doubt, just combine carnivores with pink slimes. You'll need the pink plorts for crafting anyway. Fruit and veggies are easy to grow anyway so they are never a problem it seems.
