After thinking long and hard I found that I can stay warmer, use less resources and be more efficient with my gear by setting up a small sled the same way you would set up a Roycroft pack frame. In winter we need more gear because of the cold harsh conditions. These gear can be bulky and be tuff to fit it all in a pack. This is an excellent solution! The best thing about using a sled is your back won't get hot and sweaty and your outter wear won't get compressed so it will function properly!
