Slash Zero is a 3D anime-style roguelike action platformer, with flashy moves, air combos and endless builds to suit your playstyle with elemental properties.
Fight, power up, collect items and uncover the hidden truth beneath this stunning cyberpunk world!
As the Lord of the Void—HIEROS descends, Authority Keys emerge. The scattered Keys of Causality give rise to the Null Void and the Timehackers, the resistance to stand against HIEROS.

As a member of the Timehackers, you’ll leap across divergent timelines, seek out the uncorrupted Authority Keys and unlock unimaginable power.
Track down HIEROS, defeat him, and save the world!
This is a full clear run of the recent steam playtest to provide raw gameplay and show off the game.
It features two major bosses and lot's of different paths to unlock many abilities.
About the build I used. I upgrade my main attack with lightning that triggers on every 4th hit and my special attack triggers chain lightning.
Adding a secondary attack that does fire damage helps as well.
-First area consists of opening fights and get's the build and general combat flow going.
-The sewer is next having many challenging platforming sections and some tricky enemies.
I got the worst room in the game so far where attacking damages you,
hopefully this will be removed from the final
version as it is completely cruel.
-The first major boss goes down very fast and I even break his sequence and trigger the final damage phase early.
You can stand over his head during a very long phase and just deal all the damage.
-Then the forest level is short but with lot's of flying enemies and poison flowers.
-I was able to beat the final boss of the playtest which is no easy task
as the boss has a ton of random BS projectiles and causes lot's of tornados and damage over time.
It ends in a frantic dash to take the final hit.
The graphics, music, and characters are really flashy for a 2d/3d game, although the story is a bit convoluted with all the Sci-fi Jargon.
General combat is really fun, upgrades to your main attack, general combos, special attack and a secondary attack slot are earned through the various combat arenas.
It follows your standard roguelike progression and you can get upgrades and find alternate routes and unlock passive skills and upgrades to you home base.
A few issues with enemy telegraphs are present and the game could be better optimized but this is very solid for an unfinished playtest.
I played quite a few hours and put the game on my Wishlist.
I can't wait for the full release which will have several times more content.
