The second I saw this LA duo's music described as "heaven-trap" and I saw their affiliations with artists like Illenium, I immediately had the lowest expectations for this debut album of theirs from 2022. And I ended up finding it... pretty alright, actually.

The small-time Memphis techno artist also known as Dakuan returns to his primary recording alias to make a challenging semi-experimental swerve that gets way more overtly political. The messaging is great, though musically the results could be pretty messy. (Also I checked out his old albums and theres some solid stuff there too.)
