With this boss dead the run is actually over and I've killed all bosses. Like I said before there's still several fights to upload so it'll probably be a few days before the entire thing is up here on YT. According to Xerieh(very good player who did all bosses SL1 NG+7 CoC no roll in this game) I'm apparently the second person to ever kill all bosses SL1 NG+7 CoC.
This boss was interesting, the first part with just Lud is super easy, but then when Zallen arrives the fight obtains its difficulty, with it being a gank and all that. The gank phase is weird because there sorta is some consistency to it but at the same time it's a shitshow since they can do overlapping attacks and create scenarios I found to be unavoidable. The first time I got to kill Lud and then actually survive after killing him was the winning attempt, since Zallen alone is basically just fighting Lud alone again, just with some more caution and 'safety rolling' for a lack of better words thrown in to make sure I don't die. Strafing around the melee swings are useful and let you hit the boss more, but when I got that far I wanted to really win so I rolled everything a lot more out of safety. Zallen tried to fuck me at the end and kept doing that pounce attack with a relatively strict dodge timing, but I somehow made it through and then he pretty much gave up and let me win by doing that AoE.
This boss and Blue Smelter took way less time than I thought they would, each took roughly 3 or 4 hours maximum, I was expecting both to be another Ivory King shitshow where it takes 10-15 to finally get the kill.
