In Sept 1995 when I was on the Disneyland Railroad going through the Tomorrowland I could see the Peoplemover was not running and the Skyway was being dismantled, it looked like they had a fire and this was what was left of the Skyway!
On November 9, 1994, the ride closed permanently. workers removed towers and cables soon after according to Yesterland.com
