Title: SkyTools 4 Imaging
Guest Speaker: Greg Crinklaw
Summary: Greg is the developer of SkyTools 4 Imaging, a planning software for astrophotography. This tool allows the user to obtain the highest signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) image possible for any given target, taking into consideration all the specifics of the imaging device, such as the telescope, the camera type, the filters, the season, the time, etc. SkyTools 4 Imaging is optimized to maximize SNR in the most efficient manner, thus reducing the cost and time to capture an object. SkyTools 4 Imaging has in its database all the iTelescope telescopes, thus simplifying astrophotography planning for iTelescope users. In the video, Greg shows how to create a planning script that can be uploaded into the chosen telescope on iTelescope for imaging your target.
