Skyship 1 was the spectacular, but ill-fated guest vehicle of the second Thunderbirds movie - Thunderbird 6. I figured the New World Aircraft Corporation wouldn't give up on such a revolutionary anti-grav design and therefore Skyship 2 would come to pass.
