Known by coaster enthusiasts as “The Ride That Tries to Eject You,” Skyrush is one of the most intense roller coasters ever built. Manufactured by Intamin and opening in 2012, this massive steel coaster stands 200 feet tall, reaches speeds of 75 mph, and features an 85-degree first drop that immediately throws riders into relentless ejector airtime.
With its unique wing-style seating, riders on the outer seats feel completely exposed as they race through over 3,600 feet of track. In 2024, Hersheypark upgraded Skyrush with new seats and a redesigned restraint system, making the ride more comfortable while keeping all of the intensity that made it legendary.
