☿ SKYPACK 009 Custom Sky Texturepack Resourcepack CharmZ 1.0.1 by ZerotoGura | LapisDemon - Get a beautiful sky without resource-demanding shaders!
If you want a NightSky filled with many many stars and beautifully-blue nightclouds, and a DaySky with somewhat foggy, but multi-layered unintrusive, simple but realistic clouds, and a longer sunset + sunrise, this is the right SkyPack for you!
►Pros: Compared to other SkyPacks, a longer sunset + sunrise, orange bliss to your chill enjoyment }=)
If I would have to pick clouds for the Minecraft Vanilla Default texturepack (if it would be possible to get HD clouds in MC without MCPatcher or OptiFine), I'd pick the DayClouds oif this SkyPack!
In general, the clouds look realistic during the whole day including sunset and sunrise. Somewhat simple, you won't really notice them while doing your daily MC work, but that's what makes this SkyPack so good for me, it's as if it BELONGS to default MC!
I like the multi-layered clouds, not just thick clumped cloud mountains, different cloud variants in different "heights" of the sky.
The nightsky is quite uneventful, but filled with myriads of stars and unintrusive clouds in a wonderful blue that cover the NightSky here and there, making it a really beautiful sight.
►Cons: This SkyPack is really simply a SkyPack, without Sun and Moon which are usually located outside of the MCPatcher-folder.. so you might want to add matching Sun+Moon to it, or it won't look very well with the HD textures of the SkyPack!
I would have liked a slightly different sunset and sunrise as for the Sky+clouds coluring or generally a better fading in and out of the night and the day, but that's really complaining on a high level, this SkyPack is one of the better ones you can get out there, real HD, not much pixelated.
The stars at night are partially not behind the clouds, but in front of them, which is not realistic.
But: You can always adjust it and delete what you don't need yourself or add what you want instead };]
