Gromber is Boomer's grandfather who too betrayed the original trolls and wanted to be a Skylander. But as he got older, he had a lot of back aches and pains and cracks. However, he denies his pains and still wants to continue being a Skylander. Boomer then decided to send him to Skylanders University to help him realize he's not cut out for it. Despite this, things weren't getting anywhere....for the moment.
