The rules are simple.
If a skylander dies at any point in the game, I am unable to play as them again for the rest of the challenge. I can use the 18 Trap Masters and 18 Cores introduced in Trap Team but I cannot use trappable villains at any point in the challenge. If an area has an elemental boost I have to swap to a skylander of that element. That's pretty much it.
