pick a Sky Viper Video done up from Walmart or toys r us for about 80 bucks, it comes truly ready to fly with the batteries already charged and installed.
It's very robust and crash resistant and easy to fly with a little practice.
It's not super smooth compared to other quads but it's a good entry level aircraft for people who are interested in aerial photography. It records video to a micro SD card, it comes with a usb charger for the battery and it flies for about 5 to 7 minutes. it takes about 45 minutes to charge and it's an OK first quad, if you have a little discipline wen learning to fly it should require little to no maintenance
