*THE ORIGIN OF THE EXTRA SECTION*
Back in 1994, just after the release of Sonic & Knuckles, SEGA released this album vgmdb.net/album/176
It features many tracks from Sonic & Knuckles (some of those also appeared on Sonic 3) but there's a catch, many songs sound different! In Sky Sanctuary's case, the instrumentation is closer to the recently leaked prototype and it has an entirely unheard section.
I don't know if it was just a demo or a special bridge added just for the OST version, but I thought it would be nice if we heard it using the genesis hardware. So, here is my little Christmas gift to you.
