I'd like to have a "virtual piano roll" but the falling notes here are spaced like piano keys, so it isn't quite realistic. If someone out there is able to edit the open-source "Piano From Above" program to make the notes all evenly spaced and shaped, like a real piano roll, I'd love to see it for future video possibilities. github.com/brian-pantano/PianoFromAbove -- Particularly the "viz" branch which removes all the gamification and acts solely as a player.
