"IT CAN'T BE OVER" cries a Dallas Cowboys fans as he CRASHES OUT during a loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15 of NFL action.
The Cowboys have not yet been officially eliminated from playoff contention in the NFC, but the season is essentially done. Entering the game, on Sunday Night Football, the Cowboys were 6-6-1, making the matchup a must-win. And they did not.
Dak Prescott did the best he could, but Dallas' offensive line was terrible. Give the Vikings defense credit. (Sidenote: I've always been a fan of Harrison Smith. 36 years old and still playing!)
On the other side of the ball, J.J. McCarthy had the best game of his career. Is it because he is starting to figure out how to play NFL QB, or is it because the Cowboys defense is truly awful? Maybe a bit of both. Either way, it helps to have Justin Jefferson.
In the end, this Dallas Cowboys superfan family, who is driving their RV to every single game this year, will continue the trip. 3 games left. Meaningless, sure, but we feel we've got to complete this series.
(Although we did consider driving south to Mexico. LOL Street tacos are alluring)
