The Medicine skill influences any medical devices. In this short video I show the difference between a character with 99 Medicine skill (Lisa Nelson) and someone with 16 skill (Tom Shatz).
The first character can use the First Aid Kit (The most basic healing item) to restore 9-24 HP, while the second will restore ONLY 1-3 HP!
Quite a difference :)
