The third battle with Admiral De Loco's flagship, The Chameleon, fought in Deep Sky after retrieving Fina's ship. In Deep Sky the Rounds of each turn are invisible, but it's possible to work them out from damage dealt; switch Annotations on to see the Round structure at the beginning of each turn. As some general advice, don't bother with magical attacks other than Status Effects, and use Torpedoes often, with Tikatika as the Active Lookout Crew Member; Torpedoes cannot be “Lost”, and with Tikatika active they will rarely miss. The Chameleon is extremely resistant to elemental attacks, so don't bother attacking with magic other than Driln/Sylenis, and don't use elemental weapons such as the Wevl Cannon or the Pyril Cannon. Its attacks aren't that accurate, so equipping multiple Engine items (Triple Turbo, Twin Propellers, e.t.c.) on the ship may prove effective. In the second half of the battle, The Chameleon frequently uses magical attacks, and will fire Drilnos and Sylenis; you can stop these and avoid the Weakened and Silenced Status Effects by firing Sylenis first.
The first half of the battle consists of three distinct Turns, which play in repeating sequence; the fourth Turn will be the same as the first Turn, although the exact actions the Chameleon takes may differ slightly. In those three Turns, there is only one Round which would qualify as “Red” — the third Round of the first Turn, damage for which will be multiplied by 110%. The Chameleon's Torpedoes do the most damage by far, often combined with other attacks; these can hit on the third Round of the first Turn, the second Round of the second Turn, and the third Round of the third Turn; the incoming Torpedo on the last Round of the second Turn seems to be set to always Miss. The Chameleon may also fire its Primary Cannon on the second Round of the first Turn. There are three Chance (C!) Rounds in the first half of the battle, where damage dealt will be multiplied by 110%, two of which occur on possible Torpedo Rounds. These Rounds are the first and second Rounds of the second Turn, and the third Round of the third Turn. In each Turn there are several Rounds that are set to always “Miss”, except for Torpedoes, and similarly there is one “Lost” Round. In the first Turn they are the first and last Rounds, in the second Turn they are the latter two Rounds after the first two Chance Rounds, and in the third Turn they are all Rounds except the third Chance Round. The only non-Miss/Lost Rounds that are not also Chance (C!) Rounds are the second and third Rounds of the first Turn, the third being a damaging Red Round.
The second half of the battle is a little simpler. Again there are three repeating Turns. There are no Red Rounds where incoming damage is multiplied, and no Chance (C!) Rounds where outgoing damage is multiplied. The Chameleon may fire Sylenis on the second Round of the first Turn, otherwise it will fire the Primary Cannon; and it may fire Drilnos on the second Round of the second Turn, otherwise it will begin firing the Secondary Cannon. The first Round of each Turn is almost always safe; the Chameleon's Secondary Cannon may fire in the first Round of the third Turn. Rounds in which attacks may be “Lost” are the second and fourth Rounds of the second Turn, and the last Round of the third Turn, the first Turn having no Lost Rounds. Unlike the first half, attacks will not always be “Lost” in the Lost Rounds.
Finally, it seems it's possible to acquire an extra Captain's Stripe from this battle, if the Chameleon's health is completely drained before the second half of the battle can start; this needs to be timed carefully, as the first half will end as soon as half of its health is gone.
