Kyle Ely from Learn Your CNC is back this Wednesday, and this time he's showing us how SketchUp and Vectric work together for CNC design.
SketchUp is free to use and gives you the ability to design in a true 3D environment, making it especially useful for furniture, cabinets, assemblies, and projects where seeing how all the pieces fit together can make a huge difference.
Then comes the part CNC makers care about: you can bring that design into Vectric and turn it into something your CNC can actually cut.
Kyle will walk us through how these two programs complement each other, where SketchUp can expand what's possible with your designs, and some practical ways CNC makers can put it to use.
