Today’s art stream is something a little different ... this is a Patron Reward Sketch a 5-Heart Legend. I’ll be doing a black and white portrait sketch of Professor Minerva McGonagall, portrayed by the legendary Dame Maggie Smith from the Harry Potter film series.
This drawing is for Stephanie Thompson, a Patron at the $50 tier, where she receives a monthly sketch on a subject of her choosing. Normally these are done off stream, but today I wanted to share what this level of support makes possible.
We’ll talk a bit about Maggie Smith’s incredible career, from Hogwarts to Downton Abbey, while I explore this portrait in a loose black and white study.
