We're still in the pandemic mode so I decided to do yet another on-location sketch in our yard. I love how sketches can make mundane, everyday things look artsy so I chose to sketch and paint our bright blue recycle container and the two pots with lavender in them in our driveway. I grabbed one of our regular folding lawn chairs and set up. The predicted rain decided to fall earlier than expected so I had to relocate inside the house to finish my sketch and painting. It is for situations like this that I always try to remember to take one or two photos of the scene I'm sketching!
