Skesa is a true pillar of Montreal's thriving underground. Following appearances at the likes of Mutek and Expose Noir over the last year, Skesa continues to cut deep into his distinct blend of punchy breaks, soaring melodics, and heady sampling. He dropped his debut single - Str 645 - on our Turbo 25 project, and we’re now thrilled to welcome Skesa back for a full pull - the Float Stop EP.

Across these five tracks, Skesa shifts through acidic breakbeats and haunting techno, all with a bespoke touch of the modern playfulness that ebbs through his upbringing in Montreal's vibrant dance scene. Dancefloor epics Side By Side & Househoppin' kick us into motion as the project's singles, while Flashback and Exposed land next to the title track on the full EP. Dive in & take note.

From legends like Soulwax (as 2manydjs), Matias Aguayo, Jori Hulkkonen, The Hacker, Seth Troxler, and Audion to modern masters like Cora Novoa, Disfreq, Nikki Nair, Fedele, Mathame (and many more), Turbo 25 spans soundscapery from the label’s rich past, rich present, and VR-heavy future.
