A couple of weeks ago @TheSkeleBen reached out to me for a theme for his V2 redebut... as soon as I read the concept, I knew it was going to be lots of fun! I see bones, I write a xilophone part, it's that simple.

As you could probably see yourself just above these letters, thanks for helping me reach the tiny goal of 100 (and more) subscribers! It may not be a lot and of course this doesnt mean everyone is actually watching my videos. We all know how subs work, you press the button, you get notified when something news up, you get all Ill watch it later and then you end up with 15+ unwatched videos in your feed.
Still! Im grateful. For every comment and every single person who watched and thought it made their day at least a tiny bit better. Hows your day going? Hope nicely. But Im getting sidetracked. This is gonna be long, isnt it?
I wanted to do something special and I already mentioned I was thinking about playing Speaking, so I started jamming on my keyboard and... it sucked. Hard. I wasnt really impressed by what I could do, so it kinda put me in a bad mood. I was supposed to do something nice to thank all of you, but how could I publish anything that wouldnt live up to anything I made until now? Its not like I made stuff too-good-to-be-true either.
What I managed to arrange was just... lazy sounding. There was no love at all! Nothing like it was in my head, or how I felt. There really was no point in playing something like that.
At first, I gave up. It feels heartless but I really wanna do something, so Im just going to arrange without playing. You see, I usually arrange directly on PC, away from my keyboard. Thats a completely different approach. Thats why I usually end up writing stuff a little bit more complicated that what Id try out on keyboard, usually... and thats it! Thats why it sounded lazy and boring! Arranging on PC puts no limits on how wide my hands can go or how fast they can jump around. And practicing hard enough, I can overcome those limits I thought were unsurmountable! Guess I have something else to thank you for. Thanks.
In the end, Im satisfied. Unsure if Ill actually attempt playing it for real, but in the meantime have this!

So I got into Star Rail. But I especially got into this piece! The whole OST is pretty good, but this is what I always come back to. Cidolfus my beloved, play again the song of your people.
FFXVI players will know why this song hits hard! The original sounds perfect on an acoustic guitar, but you know pianos my thing so I tried to give it my own spin. It ended up sounding a bit less free-spirited than the original, but Im dramatic like that.
