Mimi ramps surf skating is a great way to start to learn the right body movements for off the lips on surfboards. I'm no ripper on a ramp but I know the more time I spend working on these turns like basic off the lips ...hitting the top of the ramp ..the better I do those turns on the wave and with more confidence . Wear a helmet...not like me ! This can all be done on a surf skate too like Carver or Smooth Star.

In this video I'm using a #alvaskates deck about 9" wide and 32" long , #independenttrucks and #powellperalta wheels.
