🚨 Rider Report: @ClaytonArthurs in Italy & the Alps 🇮🇹🛹⛰️
We caught up with Clayton Arthurs about his recent Euro mission, where he mixed racing, freeriding, and a little tourist action into one epic trip.
🤔 Where’d he go?
“I went to Italy to compete at the World Skate Games for Team Canada, and after that we headed over to skate some of the best roads I've ever skated in the French Alps.”
🛹 What boards did he bring?
“I brought a prototype of the new Small Blind to race on because the grip that board has is unbelievable, and I brought a Blaze to freeride on because it's super comfortable for all styles of riding.”
🔥 Favorite spots?
“Izoard and Bonette. Izoard is my favourite for freeriding and just the overall sickness of the run. Bonette is another favourite because we skated one run all the way out, which took just under an hour. Being on your skateboard for that long, just continuously going downhill, is an amazing experience.”
🌊 Best off-board moment?
“I would say just hanging out by the beach in the Amalfi Coast. We met up with Matt (King) and his girlfriend one day at the beach and had a really good time snorkeling around some ancient ruins and cliff jumping.”
Clayton’s trip had it all—racing, endless downhill, and Mediterranean beach hangs. Who else needs an Italy/Alps skate trip on their bucket list? 💥
