The outdoor museum of folk culture in Kolbushowa, Poland, is essentially a village that showcases how people lived before modern times. There are also animals there for the kids to see and feed. It's fun for the whole family. The open-air museum features charming villages from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. They showcase the culture of the Lasowiacy and Rzeszowiacy people who inhabited the northern part of what is now the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.Covering nearly 30 hectares, there are over 80 structures of large and small wooden architecture. These include cottages, livestock buildings (stables, barns, pigsties, and henhouses), barns, granaries, a riding school, a hayloft, rural industrial buildings such as a watermill, windmills, forges, an oil mill, and a pottery, and finally, public buildings – a school, an inn, and a fire station – as well as the impressive Church of St. Mark the Evangelist. Among the oldest structures are the manor house from Brzeziny dating from 1753, the manor house from Bidziny dating from 1784, the cottage from Markowa dating from 1804, and the church from Mielec-Rzochów built in 1843.
