you could basically call this a cure for the other sk8 the infinity video i posted last friday haha that one went hard with the angst and pain (like we aren't experiencing enough in the anime itself already), this one takes the complete opposite direction! i tried to go for a lighthearted happy mood, but also emotional at the same time? this song popped into my head randomly about two weeks ago, the original plan wasn't using it with sk8 but here we are. and i regret nothing, because it fits their young love/crush dynamic so nicely 🥺 to the point that i got so invested that after i was done with the scene selection yesterday i ended up rewatching the video like 10 times before going to bed and smiling to myself lol i hadn't felt this happy while editing a video since 2016 probably
maybe someone watched my stream two days ago where i was cutting clips from every single episode in preparation to this video, i hope all that hard work payed off 💕
PS: one day i'll also do a video about cherry and joe because those two 100% fall into my favorite shipping trope and i love them (plus i have a song in mind)

ahhhhhh i cant believe this is finally finished ohmygod
i was starting to believe that this video was cursed lol so, i started this on january 8th or something along those lines, cause i finished playing danganronpa v3 on january 2nd and i REALLY wanted to edit with it. ive been listening to this song a lot lately and i thought the lyrics would be a good match for ouma, with all the mind games thing LOL talking about ouma btw, he was kinda getting on my nerves for the majority of the game but then idk what happened? basically hes probably the drv3 character i love the most now, or at least one of them (other ones being maki and keebo, but also gonta, korekiyo, kaito, rantarou, ahHH I BASICALLY LIKE EVERYONE IN THIS GAME). at first it was meant to be some lazy fast edit, as you can see from the beginning that is basically black backgrounds + typography, but since i was being really fast somehow (i think i edited the first 15 seconds in two days) and i was enjoying the process i progressively started putting more effort into the project and began animating, messing with particular, creating sceneries, etc.
as you can see, many parts are inspired by the game itself, the main one being the nonstop debate bit with the truth bullet which im actually really happy about and that took three hundred years because i had to go look at videos of trials on yt and re-create all the stuff on-screen XD but it was a lot of fun!
i had a lot of ideas for the video tbh, so that wasnt really an issue, even though at some point i had about 5 seconds left and got kinda stuck so i took a 3 days break and didnt work on it at all. after that, my AE started acting up SO BADLY, maybe you even saw the stupid video i posted the other day where i was complaining about it, but editing was seriously impossible :/ in fact i had to tone down everything a bit for some parts and not go for what i was originally planning just because adding even more stuff to the project would have meant actual death for my computer :( and still, look at the rendering time :) https://prnt.sc/i2mynh this is overall the longest non-raw video that i have ever edited, so i guess i was not used to having this many layers and obviously it was too much to handle for my laptop as well
anyway, id like to thank everyone who gave me suggestions about how to deal with all these technical issues, it did help a bit in the end so without those i would have probably taken another week to finish / dropped the project XD

here i am back at it with OTP
tbh i edited this in the past two days bit by bit because i was super pissed at my brother and i needed a distraction lol basically all i wanna do right now is playing danganronpa v3 (IVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG for this, first because it had to come out in europe and then because i dont have a ps4 in the house im staying at where i go to university, so the only time available to play would be when im home for the holidays) and hes being such a dick about it?? he never lets me use the ps4 without yelling and being annoying, two days ago he interrupted me in the middle of the fourth class trial and i still havent been able to find out who the culprit is :/
anyway, other than this fact, im quite glad that i 1) managed to edit something again, since i still feel like editing in general has become a huge struggle 2) made something with SaruMi, cause it had been quite long since i last did a full video of them :) i already felt bad cause i wasnt able to do anything for Saruhikos bday back in november D: soon its gonna be four years since i watched K Project and my love for these two started, time sure flies lol
i also think its kinda funny how i started the video super angsty (well, the lyrics of the song are very fitting for the pairing in my opinion) and at the very end i still put some happier - but still emotional - scenes. thats because by the time i finished the video my mood thankfully had taken a turn for the better haha
and now i shall run to eat because theres pizza and its getting cold so bye

honestly i didnt want to upload this at first because i wanted to wait and do a collection, but i havent uploaded anything in a long while so why not xD the editing process for this was quite frustrating id say, not because of the song (which i totally ADORE) or because i didnt know what to do, but because my computer started lagging all of a sudden and it wouldnt even let me move a picture without freezing and half crashing. i dont even know why, everything seemed to go fine until a certain point lol and also: apparently i was stupid enough to forget there was a b&w + red colorscheme for the mep, so the original part is more blue-ish and poor Jojo had to fix it at the last minute lol but then i thought that it looked nice with a bit of red and i added it myself before uploading! again, please forgive me for being an idiot xD
im still struggling with this annoying editing block, but its slowly getting better ;w;

ive been waiting to upload these parts since forever omg
i was really happy about how the first one turned out back when i edited it (h u s b a n d right there), not so much about the second but eh, at least i edited with Persona 5 :D id like to use it more in the future because im absolutely in love with this game and all the characters. both parts are pretty old, the first one was finished at the beginning of july (fun fact: you can also see that from the bit right at the end with the SNS stock market graph LOL cause in fact the first date is the day when the studio was founded and the last date is the day when i finished the part. sophia putting useless details right here), while the other was finished in the middle of august. i honestly have a lot of fun editing this kind of classy style, especially with them bishies ;)
