This morning I soldered my new switches on the MPC and couldn’t help exploring it a bit. And since I’m still waiting for my JJOS official key, I just recorded it. Here’s a track that reminds me of Halo 2 OST.
I scrambled Final Fantasy VI samples looped and crossfaded, resampled and destroyed drum breaks, played with pitch shifting, time stretching… Old the good old stuff.
I still only have 38 seconds of sampling time to play with (JJOS takes a lot of space on a 16 Mb ram card), but I love the limitation and the voice stealing.
