Let's get my library from Alaska to Georgia.
The total costs (barge, trucks, customs, plane tickets) will be $12,000.
So far we've raised $6,000 towards the $6000 freighter costs. and nearly $2,000 for barge cost for the 1,000 miles (1600 kilometers) down the coast from Haines Alaska to Seattle Washington.
We only need $2,000 cost for the final distance from the coast to my door through customs.
We can do it! We are almost 2/3 of the way there!
