After 20 years of sitting abandoned since Hurricane Katrina, Jake visited one last time to say goodbye. This is the final look at one of America's most iconic abandoned theme parks.

Opened as Jazzland in 2000. Taken over by Six Flags in 2002. Destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Abandoned for nearly two decades. Demolished in 2024-2026. Now Bayou Phoenix plans to transform the 227-acre site into a new complex.

But before all of that, we wanted to capture what it felt like to stand there one last time. Goodbye, Six Flags New Orleans.
