Enjoy these archived clips from the 2016 season at Six Flags Great America. This was a time where not many people had GoPros and brought them on rides. Things were much more lax back then! Filmed on a GoPro Hero 2 in 1080p, it's crazy how awful this footage looks, ten years later, compared to when it was shot. This GoPro was four years old at the time.
The first set of clips came from a visit with a close friend who was just getting into riding roller coasters. I vividly remember always riding Superman: Ultimate Flight, Batman: The Ride, X Flight, American Eagle, and Viper with him that season.
The second set of clips came from a visit with another close friend who always came to the park with me. We would always marathon Raging Bull. Good times.
